RC: When and how have you started to make music?
AT: At first I started my “music – career” as a Dj and played in a few clubs around Frankfurt (Oder) and in Poland. In 2009 I decided to produce my own music. It started with the the first release of a remix which I did for the label owner Matico on Munis records. My first EP (Changes) was released in Septmeber 2010.

RC: What is your studio setup? What software (DAW, VST) and hardware are you using?
AT: My studio setup is quite simple. I use Ableton live 8 and some VST instruments.

RC: Where do you get your inspiration from? What inspires you?
AT:Sometimes I get some inspiration from my environment, but mostly I get my inspiration by “playing” with sounds in Ableton. So I try different sounds and loops and experiment with them to create something new I like.
There are some tracks of different producers who inflence me when I produce a new track. I think it´s important to find your own style of music – so your music doesn´t sound like other artists and in this way your music becomes more interesting.

RC: Tell us about this remix. What is your working method when starting a track?
AT: Mostly I don´t hear the original track because when you do this your remix becomes more like the original track. In my opinion a remix should be something different than the original because it´s my own interpretation of the track. So I take the remix files and experiment with them and make a track in my own style. Sometimes it´s only a small part of the original melody like in the remix of “El Huerto Del Salsa”. It was very nice to produce the remix.
